2004-05_AIRPORT CITY; MASTER PLAN FOR REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT IN NEW BANGKOK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
(project under responsibility as architect & urban designer at interdesign co., ltd.)

'An Extension of the Passenger Terminal and a Nucleus of Aerotropolis'
are the vision for this project to be a nucleus of emerging aerotropolis. In turn, the project will act integrally as an extension of the airport and the terminal both physically and in activities for the users.

'The Compactness of Relationship and Coordination of Transport Systems'
To enhance vibrant atmosphere and to avoid incompatible use near critical noise contours, the plan needs the compactness of relationship between differrent functions and groups of users.  Consequently, all major components are centralised around 'urban core' while water reservoirs and golf course is considered as 'blue-green belt'. The pattern of plan has been proposed with a recognizable form of open space axes continuing visual and pedestrian approach from existing main roads. An internal loop of road system is planed to avoid traffic problems and to unify overall configuration.
