2003_(NO[W)HERE]; STRATEGIC PLAN FOR URBAN DEVELOPMENT, LEIDEN,
THE NETHERLANDS
An area between two intersections at A4-N11and A4-River Rijn is periphery site that becomes more critical as possible
new city center of Leiden, a city close to Amsterdam. But actually, due to robust overlapping connections, there is no periphery
to refer to as traditional origin and its circumference anymore.
It is one of the nodal points in a field.
The site equally belongs to every levels until no sense of belonging is left. A strategy is to make it as place in itself
and placeless on others as an ultimate shift for neutrality. Hybridization of destination and transition is inserted on strategic
development models of temporary, core and emergence.
